In the Sanctuary of Outcasts

In the Sanctuary of Outcasts by Neil White. My colleague lent me this book and I read it very fast, as the writing is very John Grisham-y. The author wanted to make a change in his life but hadn't made it yet. 29/100

I am the colleague and I loved this book! I thought the author was humble and the story compelling. Maybe I am more of a sucker, but I got drawn into the story immediately and could not put this book down. As an aside, I am a big fan of this blog and consider its writer my book guru :)

The book was interesting, the historical parts were the most fascinating to me. I found it also unsatisfying when I got to the end. I've got to read faster, a book guru is a big job! :)
