Saturday

Today I woke up and read magazines for an hour, stared at the lush green of the leaves outside my window, met some old friends and new for brunch, browsed at one of my favorite consignment shops, returned a book I couldn't get into to the library, picked up a birthday cake (carrot) for a friend's milestone birthday tomorrow, did some laundry, made an appointment for a decent (read: expensive) haircut, talked to Dad, had leftover Thai spicy eggplant for dinner (just as good on the second day), went for a walk with My Heart's Desire around the neighborhood, read, and am going to bed early.
