Gratitude

Today I am grateful for: three days in a row at Gold's, sharing my favorite dinner with a friend at Thai Chef, Lars and the Real Girl, connecting with old friends, my Treo, being able to go with the flow, anniversaries, Rock Creek Park, classes at the Writer's Center, and watching My Name is Earl with My Heart's Desire.

Free Advice

Eat breakfast.
If you need help, ask.
What's the worst that could happen?
Write it down and you're less likely to forget it.
Believe in your dream!
Be who you are.
Leave 10 minutes early and be happier on your way.
Arguments start and end with the same tone.
It doesn't cost you anything to be nice.
You can't have a reasonable conversation with an unreasonable person.
Sometimes you have to toot your own horn. Beep beep!
You are the only person who can make your dreams come true.
It doesn't matter what everyone else thinks.
Learn from your mistakes, then make new ones.
Do the important things first.
Rip plastic surgery ads out of magazines and toss them in the garbage.
Create a life that fits you perfectly.
Keep TV's, laptops, and even cell phones out of the bedroom.
When someone else is talking, really listen.
When shopping, if it's not 100% yes, it's a no.
Try new things, even if you're scared.
If you're doing more than one thing at a time, you're not doing one of them well.
