Here's how the snow looked at 11am:
I already had breakfast and read magazines. Now that My Heart's Desire is up and at them, it's fire time!
Will post more photos today.
Christmas Vacation
I also love the soundtrack!
Today I am grateful for: getting plenty of sleep, online holiday bargains, my new super-cozy fleece-lined sweatshirt, The Help by Kathryn Stockett (listening to it), having a car, watching The Wrestler with My Heart’s Desire, the quality of my problems, yummy pumpkin bread recipe (with orange cream cheese frosting), spell check, Real Simple magazine, being prepared, and long walks outside.
Last night My Heart’s Desire and I made popcorn the old-fashioned way. With corn and oil on the stove. I have never made popcorn this way before – just air popped and microwave.

I recently received a check for $78.27 from the health insurance provider I had in 2004. I was not reimbursed properly for some physician co-pays 5 years ago. And my gym sent me a check for $96.75.
One of my favorite things about living in this area is having four seasons of just the right length.

My inner hippie loved this book by Michael Pollan. Some of the stuff I already knew, but I learned a lot from listening to this book. It's got me thinking about how what I eat makes a difference.
Local woman and voracious reader Amina Hafiz has been sorely disappointed with her latest reads.

And it's true.
Where Thrifty Girl Meets Hippie Girl
(my new favorite veggie, LOVE it!) for dinner, he surprised me with Jell-O, we watched some TV, and I'm going to bed early so I can make it to the 5K bright and early.

This commandment has the potential to impact my daily life for the better. I really like having a schedule, knowing what I have to do and that it's going to get done.
Today I am grateful for:
I don't feel so good. Sore throat, sneezing, etc... I don't know if it's spring allergies. Or perhaps the 4 cats that ran amok all weekend. Or the people who pretend they're not sick when they are.
